Instead of a blended tariff that is based on your electricity consumption or on renewable energy generation profiles, Discovery Green price discounts are applied to each time-of-use period. This ensures businesses always save, regardless of consumption patterns.
Inflation protection
Over the past decade, electricity charges have become increasingly expensive for businesses, increasing at an annual rate of CPI + 5%. Discovery Green price increases are capped at CPI inflation, growing the savings to your business every year.
Unique platform reallocation
Businesses cannot be expected to contract for a minimum amount of renewable energy and face the risk of paying for energy they do not use. Discovery Green protects businesses from wasted energy costs by re-allocating unused energy across its platform of businesses.
Renewable energy cash bonuses
In addition to the per kilowatt-hour discount on your energy charges, Discovery Green offers renewable energy cash bonuses on contract renewal.

Getting technical
Wheeling renewable energy can be a complex process. Because the sun and wind are not always predictable, renewable energy suppliers are often hesitant to commit to supplying a certain amount of renewable energy each month. This means that businesses take the risk of receiving too little energy and losing out on financial savings, or receiving too much energy and incurring wasted energy costs. Discovery Green is uniquely able to offer businesses high levels of renewable energy coverage without the added financial risk. This is achieved through the diversification of generation and consumption.
